Information on JPay Inmate Services and Systems
JPay is an inmate telephone service for inmates’ family and friends, offering the following features:
- Prepaid phone accounts
- Payments toward trust accounts
- Email for inmates
- Community Correction payments
JPay offers an internet-based service that tracks inmates even if they are transferred between correctional facilities. Once they are registered with JPay, they can access their prepaid phone service.
The service allows payments toward inmate trust accounts, with all transactions credited to the account within one day of receiving the payment. Account information can be verified through JPay’s internet-based service.
Inmate email allows users to contact inmates via email. JPay prints and delivers emails to the inmates within 24 hours.
Inmates and even parolees can contribute to their community correction payments (such as victim restitution, court costs, fines, supervision fees, drug testing fees or room and board) through the JPay system. All payments made through JPay are received by community corrections staff within 24 hours.
Family and friends of inmates can connect, share experiences and post views and problems in the Friends and Family Forum on their website.
